Education Classes
Dennis & Pam Markel from Illusive Skull Castle will demonstate how to create a Zombie. They presented this class in their store and it was an overwhelming success.
Our webmaster, Rob Lehr, will present a class on using social networking sites as a free way to advertise your business and will be available for one-on-one consultation.
Jason Paris of Spectrum will be teaching two business classes. One will cover preparing your business affairs "just in case" and the other will cover personal tax issues. He will also be available for one-on-on consultation.
There will be a Fashion show of the costumes created from last year's "class" where fabrics were chosen and everyone was given one pattern to create a final product. Each costume will be presented with construction tips.
Ron and Bernice Ferraro from Fantasy Festival Costume and Magic Center will be holding a discussion group on sales versus rentals, getting value from rentals, the challenges presented by the quality of manufactured costumes and today's over stimulated customers.
Rufus Trigg will be doing a class on Gothic and Anna May Wigs.
Phil Morris will talk about licensing, temporary stores and Big Foot.
Tony Zagone of Zagone Studios will present "Halloween from a manufacturers' perspective."
Gina D'Angelo from Fabian Rentals will talk about adventures in cosplay (Costume Play) and lycra: making superhero and comic book character costumes for comic book conventions and other functions. Focus on use and working with lycra with regular machines.
More classes are still being added and the education line-up is subject to change.
