America is celebrating its semiquincentennial this year, and the fun will peak on Independence Day. Is your shop ready to take advantage? It seems likely that people will be more interested than usual to buy America-related costumes, accessories and other stuff.

Rubies showed up a solid range of 250th birthday gear at Halloween & Party Expo, including a Statue of Liberty costume, colonial costumes, and lots of flag-decorated items.
The Pirate Dressing focuses, as the name suggests, on pirate outfits, but several of its high quality shirts and coats could do double duty as Revolutionary War uniforms.
