MOUNT LAUREL, NJ (September 25, 2026) The Halloween & Costume Association (HCA) has announced the finalists for the third annual Spooky Awards.
This year’s finalists were selected in eight categories:
- Accessories
- Adult Costume
- Child Costume
- Licensed Costume
- Most Unique Costume
- Décor
- Masks
- Most Innovative Product
The 2026 Spooky Awards finalists represent the very best in these categories. Each entry was evaluated by a panel of industry experts on Innovation, Marketability, Trendsetting Potential, Appeal, and Usefulness.
“We had a great group of entries this year and narrowing them down was not easy for our judges,” said Michele Boylstein, Executive Director of HCA. “We’re excited to recognize this year’s finalists and celebrate the people and companies that bring so much creativity to Halloween.”
Winners will be announced live at HCA’s Spooky Awards Ceremony during the Halloween & Party Expo’s Welcome Reception, sponsored by HCA, on January 11, 2027, at Mardi Gras World. The celebration is part of the HCA co-owned Halloween & Party Expo, the premier industry-only trade event for qualified Halloween retailers, manufacturers, and buyers, taking place January 11–13 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
But wait, there’s more! From October 1 through October 15, 2026, Spooky Awards fans will have the chance to vote for their favorite product from among all 2026 award finalists. Fan Vote finalists in each category will be announced on October 16, 2026. The finalist receiving the most votes will be crowned the Fang Favorite during the January 11 Spooky Awards ceremony.
