Gene Flaharty, teaching a course on aging makeup
This is Gene Flaharty, and I would like to Thank You for the friendships and support over the years. It has been a amazing time getting to know all of you with the great parties, store visits and many conventions. You have been there for my good times and the bad and I appreciate you.
I would like to let you know that I’m starting another chapter in my life’s journey. I no longer work for the Mehron Co. We have moved on to our different projects. I will continue working as a makeup and wig designer and teaching workshops at education venues.
At home I will be a substitute teacher and continue designing local theatre productions. This will give me more time with my three children and my three granddaughters, ages 22 months, eight and twenty-four.
I’m so grateful for the last forty years as a Makeup Artist that I’ve put all my experiences in a book, and it should be out by next spring.
