Georgia
Warner Robins, GA: Discount Costumes and Comics, 1736 Watson Blvd: We will be offering giveaways every hour from 11-6. We will also be offering free face painting, balloon twisting, fresh popcorn and cotton candy, plus discounts through the entire store! Come dressed in costume (or purchase one from us) to be included in an additional drawing for a gift card from Discount Costumes and Costumes!
Illinois
Chicago, IL: Chicago Costume, 1120 W. Fullerton and 4727 W. Montrose: Face painting, appearances by sports team mascots and a human statue, and special offers.
Chicago, IL: Fantasy Costumes, 4065 N. Milwaukee Ave.: Celebrate with us and see our giant selection of costumes, wigs, masks, theatrical makeup and accessories.
Iowa
Iowa City, IA: The Second Act, 538 Olympic Court: We are offering 30% off packaged costumes. We are also giving out $5 coupons with purchase- valid on a purchase of $10 or more in our store during the month of November. (We are also a clothing consignment shop).
Kentucky
Louisville, KY: Caufields Novelty, 1006 West Main Street: We will be offering free give aways special discounts throughout the day. We will have a photo ops throughout the store and our makeup artist will do makeup on customers.
Nebraska
Omaha: Ibsen Costumes, 4981 Hamilton St.: Kick off your Halloween season by visiting Ibsen Costume. We'll have free shop tours on the hour led by a team member and FX make-up tutorials for just $25, including the supplies.
New York
New York City: Abracadabra, 19 W. 21st Street: We will celebrate the day with themed costume employee day. We do this several times in the month of October. We will also have live magic demonstrations through out the day and a SFX artist in store doing a live looks. One of our wig stylists will also be on hand for the special day.
Rochester: Arlene's Costumes, 1156 Culver Rd.: We will continue celebrating our 70th Anniversary on National Independent Costume Store Day, and we will be offering airbrush face painting for our customers! We also are working with our local Rec Center and Business Association to provide costumes, candy and other goodies for their Halloween party.
Oklahoma
Tulsa: Spot Lite Magic & Costumes, 6808 South Memorial Drive, Suite 220: Come and celebrate our 50th Anniversary as well as National Independent Costume Store Day! We will have magic shows in the Magic Attic Theater (in the middle of our store) with a complimentary bag of popcorn between 12PM and 6PM. Our favorite local makeup artist Valentina Willgou will be doing makeup demonstrations between 2PM and 5PM and Balloon Man Neil will also be here all day making amazing Balloon Creations!

Redmond, WA: A Masquerade Costume: 16640 Cleveland St, Suite K: We are planning live SfX make-up demos in our store, using foam latex facial prosthetics. Models will be chosen from the people who are in the store, by raffle. Models can keep the customized prosthetics and re-use them. Other activities planned for the day include employees in costumes, giveaway of masquerade masks, Promotional discounts on some categories.
