Buyer Members
Buyer membership is designed for established costume rental and retail businesses, including qualifying e-commerce businesses that stock the products they sell. Buyer members gain access to NCA purchasing programs, educational resources, publications, professional networking, inventory connections, and industry tools.

Vendor Members
Vendor membership connects manufacturers, distributors, and service providers with the businesses and professionals who purchase and use costume-industry products. Benefits may include participation in the Buyers Group, product and catalog opportunities, member marketing access, discounted advertising, product coverage, group-purchase opportunities, and input from costume professionals.

• Platinum: $925

Professional Members
Professional membership is available to qualifying individuals who work in costume design, construction, manufacturing, or a closely related professional field. Professional members can take advantage of education, publications, networking, industry discounts, and resources that support their work and professional development.

Official Membership Eligibility
Rental / Retail Member
Any company with more than 50% of its stock consisting of theatrical and masquerade rental and retail costumes and related accessories, and which operates year-round and for profit, is eligible for membership.
Retail-Only Member
Any company with more than 50% of its stock consisting of theatrical and masquerade retail costumes and related accessories, and which operates year-round and for profit, is eligible for membership. The retailer may not be publicly held, may not operate as a franchise, and may have no more than eight outlets.
E-Commerce Member
Any company with more than 50% of its stock consisting of theatrical and masquerade retail costumes and related accessories, and which operates year-round and for profit, is eligible for membership. Qualifying e-commerce businesses must maintain inventory on hand for shipment to customers; drop-shipment-only businesses are not eligible for NCA membership.
Costume Professional
Any person working professionally in costume design or manufacturing who derives at least 50% of their income from the field is eligible for membership as a Costume Professional.
