Updates on Spring Fling:
There are 3 rooms left. They are holding them only until April 9th.
Activities:
1. A visit and tour of the "The Farm at Walnut Creek". It is a tour of a working Amish farm via wagon. The cost is $ 21 adults, $16 seniors (group rate is $15 for 18 or more).
You can visit their website thefarmatwalnutcreek.com. Every two people get a 64oz feed bucket on the wagon ride to feed the animals.
2. The Age of Steam Roundhouse in Sugarcreek. This is a living, breathing roundhouse where talented restoration specialists work to preserve the locomotives, railroad cars, tools and machinery of the glory days of railroading. Check out the website ageofsteamroundhouse.org. We tried to organize a tour for the group but it was to costly. You can access tickets on their website. If you are interested I would do it soon. They book up quickly. The cost is $ 20 adults and $17 for seniors and adults.
3. We have scheduled a tour of the John S. Yoder home in Sugarcreek Ohio for Friday at 2 p.m. This home was the first Amish home built in Sugarcreek. The town of Sugarcreek was founded by John S Yoder. There is also a museum for touring. No cost. Just donations accepted.
4. It is garage sale / yard sale weekend. So..bring your cash !!!!
5. Food:
--Friday will be lunch on your own.
--Friday night is pot luck dinner. We are asking attendees to bring dinner food to share. There is an oven but no cookstove top. Crockpots work well.
--Saturday - lunch on your own
--Saturday night - we are having dinner catered by Sammy Sue's BBQ in Dover. The cost per person is $15.
Bring your appetite. It is going to be wonderful
6. Bring anything you might want to share, ideas, crafts etc. and anything you might want to swap or give away. Old Costumers never throw away haha.
7. There is a wonderful winery in Sugarcreek, just past the hotel going towards Dover. Breitenback Wine Cellars. They serve a great lunch, and I hear the wine is good. They also have guided tours if you are interested.

Would you like to spend time sharing experiences and camaraderie with fellow costumers? Then plan on attending the NCA's Spring Fling on May 5 to 8 in Sugarcreek, Ohio. This is an informal event organized each year by members. More details will follow as to food and activities for the weekend.

Information: There is a block of 12 rooms reserved under the NCA. Ten rooms are double beds and 2 are queen size. We also have the meeting room for gathering and eating. They will hold the room block until the end of April 2022.
Cost: Double size room: $89.95 Thursday & Saturday and $99.95 on Friday
Queen size room: $99.95 Thursday & Saturday and $109.95 on Friday.
