The Harry Palmer Award recognizes an NCA member who overcomes adversity in their personal and/or professional life.
This memorial was requested by his widow Margaret Palmer and was created at the Winter Board Meeting on January 16, 1998 as the result of a motion by Terri Greenberg and it was seconded by Betty Hill Swander.
Harry Palmer and his wife Margaret owned Indianapolis Costume Company in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This award, in the form of a plaque, is presented at the Presidents banquet (during the award ceremony) at the annual convention.
