Loftus Novelty was founded in 1939. The first shop was a tiny hole-in-the-wall business located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Loftus Novelty was the first business in Salt Lake City to offer novelty and magic to the public. In the 1960's Loftus became a wholesale only company. At this time their inventory was greatly expanded to include items from all over the world.
They also became a major distributor of balloons in the United States. In 1995 Loftus Novelty was changed to Loftus International in response to their increased importing and exporting business. Loftus International has continued to grow into one of the premier novelty, magic and balloon distributors in the United States. To become a registered wholesale account, please visit their website www.loftus.com and complete the New Customer application.
With over 500 costume designs in this initial launch, Loftus will continue to expand its role as an important supplier in the Halloween industry. In addition to the partnership with Lola Stars, Loftus has been a valuable distribution partner for major brands such as Cinema Secrets, Mehron Makeup, Tinsley Transfers, Trick or Treat Studios, Visual Effects, and Zagone Studios. These partnerships and Loftus’ own line of Halloween and Everyday items make Loftus a first choice for Halloween buyers.
