The NCA has two ways for our valued Vendor Members to become more deeply involved with the organization, and we invite all vendors to consider one or both of them:
1) We have an opening on the Board for a Vendor Director. This is a voting position. The Board meets quarterly via Zoom and, when feasible, once per year in person. The Vendor Director is the official liaison between the Board and other Vendor Members, and as such, is asked to keep the Board up to date on issues facing costume industry vendors. The new Vendor Director will be formally elected at the convention in Indianapolis, August 4-6, and will serve a two-year term.
2) We are launching a new Vendor Council. This will be a group of Vendor Members who will meet quarterly via Zoom to discuss issues facing the costume industry and how the NCA can better serve the industry. The Vendor Council will have direct impact on the NCA Board through the Vendor Director.
Any employee of a Vendor Member in good standing is welcome and encouraged to apply for one or both of these positions.
